Security Fogging Devices

Fogging Device activated

Instant Smoke Screen

This concept is making its name in the Security World and caught my interest this morning. These  devices, typically linked to an alarm or a panic button, consist of a well of either glycol or glycerine mixed with water and a heater. In a split second, the liquid is pumped over the heater and out where it condenses on contact with cold air. Initially I thought it a brilliant idea and went ahead with researching them on line, my aim being to stock them on our website.
Then I came across the arguments for and against.

The manufacturers and suppliers are saying
The BBC are saying that panic is the fore most reason for things going wrong during a robbery
and Criminologist Prof Roger Matthews, of London Southbank University, author of Armed Robbery, concurs. quote from the BBC News Magazine

They all have good points and I'm a bit worried they'd be difficult to sell. What do you think?

Well the arguments against are compelling but quite honestly I'm sick of the authorities always coming up with reasons why we shouldn't protect our own property.
